God helped a little girl through us this week, which is good. The bracelet in the picture is from the girl that God helped after the situation was over. She gave us all bracelets, and for me, the bracelet happened to be my two favorite colors. For the sake of privacy, I’m not going to write about the details.

Let’s talk about some other occurrences this week.

We were primarily teamed up with a church and back at the orphanage, giving talks and playing games. I gave some stories on evangelization from the World Race, spoke on fasting, and spoke on forgiveness. I actually had the fasting sermon prepared from earlier but didn’t use the sermon when I thought I was going to. All in God’s timing. We all took turns and I think all of the talks went very well. We also sang some worship songs for the church which the congregation appreciated. Our host is letting us focus primarily on the Bible with the orphans instead of teaching other subjects because he rarely has fully Christian teams. Praise God for that, because these kids are all at vastly different academic levels so teaching would’ve been pretty difficult. I like the Bible better anyway.

Our host has also been incredibly gracious to us. First, one of the girls on my team had a birthday. We got a massive cake that the kids ate with us, as well as decorations to celebrate. She also got some cards from the kids, as well as one big card and celebration. I’ve been with this girl since the beginning and I can tell you she really loves kids, so she obviously really appreciated the entire day.

Our host also invited us over to his house for a massive dinner. We had Ethiopian barbecue and Italian food. We are the first volunteers to get to see his house. He has a very cool garden and prayer room.

This upcoming week we are going back to the refugee camp and will keep working with the orphans. All prayers are always appreciated. Aaron out.
