Lots of different ministry stuff has occurred so let’s discuss.

First and foremost, the testimony kids. A couple of teams from the Netherlands and Italy have come with a focus on sports. We still did Christian talks with the kids, with me in particular leading a talk about Elijah. Soccer is still the predominant one, but now badminton and volleyball have been thrown into the mix and the kids also always had disc golf as well.

I used to play volleyball but I was never a good passer. Yet for some reason I feel better than I remember. I am actually able to make good passes directed to specific kids a good amount of the time. I was actually called good, and it didn’t feel like pity to me unlike soccer. I wasn’t half bad at badminton either, although I felt better in Malaysia. I would say skill wise I’m Level 0 at soccer, Level 1.75 at badminton, and level 5.231 at volleyball. How many levels are there? … Let’s not worry about that and talk about other ministry stuff!

We went to the refugee camp to deliver food. The camp is still a sad place with broken families just trying to survive with very little. I overheard our host talking to the other teams and he said the situation just keeps getting worse over there.

We also have partnered with a different church to lead service and do kids ministry. I haven’t led any of the talks for the kids but I did do a talk about what being a missionary is like and a talk about the importance of praying for other people with the adults. There was also a question and answer session where I felt I did a decent job. I have also been playing games with the kids. They really liked musical chairs and partner tag.

We have a new country with new teams and new roles coming up. The information I can tell you is that the country is Kenya and this blog is done.
